Sanding

Sanding is no joke! I spent 3 hours sanding my first piece by hand! I didn't have feeling in my fingers by the end of it! Then, when I was finished and showed my husband, he decided to then let me know that we have an electric sander! :o

 I nearly fainted when he said that. And surely we did! Tucked in the back of the garage. So, yes you can put the hours into it, or if this is going to become a hobby of yours, I'd invest in a good ol electric sander ;) 

P.s. / reminder: even with the electric sander, move with the wood, not circles or against ;)

On this I call the Santa Barbara Piece, I used a Sander Belt and then used a light stain. And I only used one coat.
