Painting Furniture

Most of my pieces of furniture are found on the side of the road, goodwill, or random site. I have never spent more than $50 on furniture that I rehab.

Secret: My biggest secret when painting furniture. . . I buy paint samples that have a primer in them. Coast = way cheaper than chalk paint, or gallons of paint! On sale you can get a sample can for $2.50 per can! Regular price is a little over $4.

1 sample can usually will last me two or three small pieces of furniture like a side table, chair, coffee table. Medium size dresser ... If I'm doing a bigger piece maybe two cans. ;)

- bookcase:

(if you look close this is not a wood bookcase, this is a bookcase that my neighbor had tossed! One neighbors trash is another neighbor's treasure ;) This paint works on just about everything)
