How to?

How to get that vintage/distressed look?
My biggest rule!!!!!! PLEASE DON'T HURT THE WOOD!!! I know how some sites will say take sand paper and edge up the sides or take a hammer and bang it up... nooooo!!!!!! Not only might you brake or damage the piece that you spent about an hour painting . But what about this piece of furnitures future?! Please don't damage your furniture!

Here's my advise: take a sponge paint brush, dab it in brown / grey / black or even aqua paint. Wipe a little on the sides, edges or trim! Looks distressed and vintage... And no pain for your furniture! Best part is if you think you put to much or didn't like it... Get a wet paper towel and wipe it off before it sets  in ;)

How to clean a brush?
So I think we've all been guilty of tossing those brushes in the trash right? Well even those 50 cent brushes can be saved! A dear friend of mine taught me how to clean my acrylic brushes. And I realized this would work on the brushes that I'm tossing! Even if it has a thick coat of paint and you've been using it all day... Get your dish soap place about dime cent amount on the palm of your hand and massage the brush in circles on your hand. THEN rinse add more soap and repeat!  When the soap becomes more normal soap bubbles without paint, rinse your brush lay it to dry! Works with canned paint and strainer!
